We are excited to be holding a Financial Literacy class for all ages.
There will be two seminars occurring on April 4.

10:00 AM: For Youth (ages Middle School and High School)

Through an educational and interactive event, Fluent in Finance will be teaching basic skills in personal financial literacy: budgeting, savings, and debt management. Fluent in Finance is a student-run organization dedicated to educating essential financial knowledge to equip youth with the proper skills needed to succeed in adulthood. Come (re)learn and sharpen your PFL skills with this seminar’s presentation and creative activities.

11:00 AM: For College, Young Adults and beyond.
One of the most important skills we can develop as we grow older is understanding money and how to manage it well. While this is something anyone can learn at any stage of life, starting earlier helps us grow in areas like saving, budgeting, taxes, and even tithing.

Money can feel intimidating and is often considered a taboo topic, but the more we talk about it openly and handle it wisely, the less control it has over us. At the same time, we recognize that money can easily become an idol, so we want to approach it with the right perspective—understanding how God calls us to use it faithfully and generously.

This class is for anyone who wants a refresher or is looking for a safe space to ask questions. The speaker will cover Personal Finance 101, including practical topics like budgeting, saving, taxes, and tithing. Come and learn how to steward your finances with wisdom and purpose.

At Edge City Church, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for every child and student in our care. This sexual abuse prevention seminar is designed to equip parents with practical tools, awareness, and confidence to recognize warning signs, have age-appropriate conversations, and help protect their children. Together, we can build a culture of safety, trust, and accountability within our church community. This seminar is the first of what will be an ongoing conversation that helps create this culture.
